At South Causey Inn, we take enormous care and pride in our food, using locally sourced ingredients. We work closely with our suppliers to ensure the best products are provided by local farmers and fish from the local market is brought in daily.

Stay with us
Enjoy a luxury stay at South Causey Inn, in the heart of the Beamish Valley. We have an impeccable selection of accommodation spaces from cosy double en suites, to individually themed deluxe hot tub suites including a 1960s double-decker bus!

Private Dining Pods
Our private dining pods offer the most magical way to dine al fresco where you can immerse yourself in the beautiful festive outdoor surroundings whilst being cosy warm with food and drinks served to you at your leisure.

Our dining pods are situated in our beautiful gardens and are fitted with internal heaters, solid floors and doors, blankets and hot water bottles and festoon lights, making your experience one to remember!

Weddings
Set the scene for romance and get married in the idyllic setting of South Causey Inn.

Causey can provide you with a traditional countryside wedding set in the beautiful Beamish Valley. Our Old Barn and Durham Suite Wedding Venues are set in 100 acres with beautiful flower and herb gardens, a wild meadow, and more formal lawns for those treasured photographs.

We're dog friendly
We believe that no member of the family should be left behind, especially when there are acres of beautiful grounds and the nearby Beamish Valley to explore. At South Causey Inn, we have several pet friendly rooms available. We also welcome dogs in our bar and snug area.
